Pip Sync - Account Deletion Request
We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to delete your Pip Sync account and what happens to your data when you do.
⚠️ Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your trading data, journal entries, and performance analytics.
How to Delete Your Account
1Option A: Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open the Pip Sync app on your device
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Account"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
- Tap "Permanently Delete Account"
2Option B: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to privacy@pipsync.app
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Pip Sync account
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- ✓Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile data
- ✓Authentication Data: Password (encrypted) and authentication tokens
- ✓Connected Accounts: MT5 account connections and credentials
- ✓Trading Data: Synced trade history, account balances, and performance metrics
- ✓Trade Journal: All journal entries, notes, tags, and screenshots
- ✓App Preferences: Settings and customizations
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for limited periods due to legal, security, or business requirements:

Note: Retained data is anonymized where possible and is not used for marketing or shared with third parties.
Deletion Timeline
Your account is deactivated and you can no longer sign in
Your personal data is removed from our active systems
Your data is purged from all backup systems
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives before deleting your account:
- •Export your data: Download your trade history and journal entries from Settings → Data → Export
- •Disconnect accounts: You can remove MT5 connections without deleting your entire account
