  • Account Information: Name, email address, password (encrypted), and profile information
  • Trading Account Credentials: MetaTrader 5 (MT5) login credentials required to connect your trading accounts
  • Communication Data: Information you provide when contacting our support team
  • User-Generated Content: Trade journal entries, notes, screenshots, and tags you create

Information Collected Automatically

  • Trading Data: Account balance, equity, margin, open positions, trade history, and performance metrics from connected MT5 accounts
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
  • Usage Data: Features used, time spent on the app, crash reports, and performance data
  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, access times, and referring URLs

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide Services: Display your trading account data, generate performance analytics, and maintain your trade journal
  • Account Management: Create and manage your Pip Sync account, authenticate your identity
  • Improve Services: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features
  • Communications: Send service-related notifications, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support
  • Security: Detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities

Read-Only Access

Pip Sync only accesses read-only data from your MT5 accounts. We cannot execute trades, withdraw funds, or modify your account settings.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, customer support), bound by confidentiality agreements
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

Our Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

Our Service integrates with MetaTrader 5 trading platforms provided by various brokers and analytics services to help us understand app usage. These third parties have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app, updating the “Last Updated” date, and sending a notification through the app for significant changes.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
